MOVE Trainers

What do MOVE Trainers do?

MOVE Trainers are parents and professionals who have undergone training to teach the MOVE Programme to others, sharing their knowledge and helping to establish the programme in their own and sometimes other schools and centres.
MOVE in the classroom
The MOVE Programme
can be easily
incorporated into the
schools daily life.

Trainers are vital to the MOVE Programme as their work is essential in promoting the programme both locally, nationally and at an international level. Their work ensures that the MOVE Programme is sustainable, as they are able to train others within their own school/centre at no extra cost to the establishment.

Who can become a MOVE Trainer?.

Anyone with at least one year's experience as a MOVE Practitioner is eligible to apply to become a MOVE Trainer.

The training takes place over five days. Please see MOVE training and resources for more information about where our next trainings are taking place.

    Trainer courses and manual handling

MOVE and manual handling complement each other perfectly. While MOVE is enabling the child to move, good manual handling is necessary to ensure that these movements are done as safely as possible. For this reason in 2002, MOVE began a partnership with Centaur Training Limited ensuring that our materials and training was adapted to reflect current legislation.
